Pray for Rain Review by PneumaticTire

Title: Pray for Rain

Rating: 9.5 of 10 clicks
“Comprised of Bethany Jones on vocals, Jonathan Stamets (Coriolis) on vocals/guitars/programming, and KL (ex-Wedding Party) on guitar/keyboard/programming, Bridgeshadows merges classic metal with elements of gothic, industrial, and electronica. Pray For Rain Review by Holy Steel
Codigo Eterno Review by Art For The Ears
Artist: Codigo Eterno
Title: Codigo Eterno
Style: Rock/Alternative/Melodic
By Art for the Ears Webzine – Marco Overvest
"Seldomly I've heard an independent release that sounded as professional as this debut album from Honduras. Though the music is a bit softer than what I normally review, this CD is worth mentioning. Codigo Eterno is a female fronted melodic rock band with Spanish lyrics. You won't even find a word English in the beautifully designed booklet. But it's not an entirely Latin American effort. Several guests helped making this album, including…" Click here to read full review by ART FOR THE EARS.

Codigo Eterno Review by Angelic Warlord
"Codigo Eterno can best be described as a blend of melodic rock and hard rock but with modern overtones. The bands influences (listed on its MySpace profile) range from Stryper, HB, Harmony and Narnia to Red, Skillet, Pillar and Kutless. Yes, you will hear occasional elements of the latter here but not so much as to alienate fans of the former. If anything, the modern tendencies in question are a bit understated and by no means ruin or hold the project back (at least it did not for me). If I were to invite a direct comparison it might be HB…" Click here to read full review by ANDREW ROCKWELL - ANGELIC WARLORD.

Codigo Eterno Review by Holy Steel
Nothing More Than Light Review by Holy Steel
After an intro track the song Phoenix Rising starts with down tuned riffs and slapping bass lines. The comparison with Korn is easily made. Nothing More... Light by Christian Rockers Online
"The band’s music is in your face, dark edged hard rock/metal music, that’s mixed with the occasional rap vocal. Their songs deal mostly with taking on issues related to social injustices, like, bigotry, big industry, immigration, and war related issues, along with introspective soul searching. Coriolis Review by Art For The Ears
Artist: Coriolis
Title: Coriolis
Style: Industrial/Metal/Gothic
By Art for the Ears Webzine – Marco Overvest
"This debut album dates from 2005. It's a one man effort. Coriolis is Jonathan Stamets (also known from Bridgeshadows) who did all the instruments and the singing on this record. The music is a mix of keyboard gothic and metal with electronic elements. Most of the songs have a dark and sometimes even depressing sound. This is partly due to the vocals, though they are not of the screaming sort, they are dark, raw and sometimes quite low and as a whisper. They fit this kind of music perfectly…" Click here to read full review by ART FOR THE EARS.

Coriolis Review by Holy Steel
Coriolis Review by The Phantom Tollbooth
Influences range from Rammstein, Celldweller, Rob Zombie, Type O Negative, Circle of Dust, Dream Theater, and Metallica. The industrial component is a bit softer, blending with ethereal keyboard sequences, slightly metallic vocals, and a wall of rhythm guitar, to create a very listenable and unique experience.
Lyrically, Coriolis is dedicated to making meaningful poetry into music that brings it alive. Here is a sample of lyrics to one of this reviewer’s favorite cuts, “Demigod”... Click here to read full review by TheCannyShark - THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH

"HB is a female fronted symphonic/power metal band from Finland. Frozen Inside is a re-release of their previous Finnish release, but it has been translated and remastered for an English release. The band has been together for quite awhile now and you can hear that in the quality of the songs. Piikki Lihassa Review by Angelic Warlord
HB came out of the burgeoning Finnish metal scene in 2004, releasing its full length debut Uskon Puolesta before following up two years later with the sophomore outing Enne. The band proceeded to put out a live DVD in 2007, Can You Road?, only to return to the studio and record its spring of 2008 Bullroser Records debut Frozen Inside. The latter half of 2008 finds HB presenting with the Bullroser follow up effort Piikki Lihassa, an all Finnish release in which the group continues to impress with its unique brand of female fronted symphonic metal.
Piikki Lihassa builds upon the strengths that made Frozen Inside such a solid release. Still inviting comparison to Nightwish and Within Temptation, HB maintains its penchant for taking an upfront rhythm guitar sound and lacing it with operatic vocal harmonies, epic arrangements, grandiose keyboards and classical instrumentation. The addition of a male vocalist, at the same time, brings another dimension to the bands sound... Click here to read full review by ANDREW ROCKWELL - ANGELIC WARLORD.

Continue to address the tracklist we encounter in 'Institution', song that makes us know the side decidedly irreverent and rebellious toward our institutions, the piece offers a musical level the two singer Dan and Toad (lead vocalist) dealing with clean lines , growl and parts narrated, accompanied by a sound that we could approach the gothic rock more stringent... "Third release shows a now well-established darkwave band, featuring heavy guitar-driven metallic music with a dark-sounding modern rock feel. Vocal styles here differ from the almost Rob Zombie feel of their last release, in places now giving a more mainstream alternative sound, while mixing in some death growls as well as an almost punk-like barking in places. Overall, a very solid release leaping large bounds over their previous two, and should garner them even more attention." - JEFF MC CORMACK
