Fivestar Prophet is a heavy hitting band from Helsinki, Finland.
This band is all about the Kingdom! Fivestar Prophet's desire is to be a band of servants - not to be served and idolized. "There's not enough music out there that has a positive and uplifting message. Fivestars want to make a change..." They want to see lives changed and people being healed by the power of God.
It's hard to put a label on the style of music - heavy riffs, great big pop-flavored choruses, some ambient and even techno filled keyboards and sounds.... plus some raw and swetty in your face rock energy.
This band has been in the making for some time. Olli Helenius - front man and lead singer - has always had the vision for a rock band singing their hearts out to their Creator. With this in mind, the band L-60° wawas was formed in 2001.
In 2008 L-60° seemed tired and frustrated. Many disapointments and the ever changing course of the music industry wore the band out. At the same time there was a growing desire within the guys to update the message to be more Christ centered. The music also needed a facelift, but the band continued along the same old path.
October 26, 2009 was the turning point. That night Olli wrote to his bandmates, sharing his vision to start afresh with a clean slate and a new band. Everything needed to be renewed, especially the focus. The members unanimously agreed and Fivestar Prophet was birthed. Fivestar Prophet is the same line up of L-60° wawas with an additional guitarist.
