This is not a compilation album - Scandinavian Metal Praise is the name of the band. The first song on this CD is called "Great in power" and that is exactly how it starts, with a very raw and super tough riff! This is a female fronted band but there is nothing typical or stereotype about her vocal style at all. Stylistically the songs range from all out speed metal ones that will have your head bobbing while praising God, to more melodic, symphonic tracks, that will put you in more of a reflective mood. If you like you metal music in any of its different styles, then you owe it to yourself to get this self-titled release from the band Scandinavian Metal Praise.
